Winter Storm Policy

While we will do everything humanly possible not to cancel Sunday worship services, there may be situations where it is best to do so. In the event that services are canceled, we will alert the local media as soon as the decision is made (by 7:00 a.m. on Sunday at the latest) so that our church can be included in the list of cancellations. MUMC members and friends can consult televised reports on WMUR (channel 8 for most area residents). The "crawl" of closings and cancellations runs along the bottom of the screen at 15 minutes and 45 minutes past the hour. You may also visit wmur.com and click on the "closings" list on the left hand side.

On those Sundays when there is snow on the ground but worship is not canceled, members and friends are encouraged to use their own discretion as to whether they can or should be attending worship that particular Sunday.
